This EP began as an experiment into whether I could create a track using basic synthesis and samples for drums and vocal snippets. Combining single cycle waveform and granular synthesis techniques I was able to create the three tracks you can listen to here.

All the tracks were created solely within a Polyend Tracker (@Polyend) using as many of the features of this great device as possible. The tracks themselves were not performed live, but rather composed into songs using the built-in song mode.

Songs were then exported as a master file and a bit of post-processing carried out using iZotope Ozone 9.

Inspiration for the tracks overall theme came from watching Dark on Netflix.
